ROLEX DAYTONA MOVEMENTS

Since Rolex began to manufacturing Cosmograph Daytona timepieces, they have mainly been  powered In 1967, the Rolex Daytona  watch was powered by the Valijoux 72 calibre with different versions (72A, 72B, 722,722-1,727). In 1988 Rolex fitted its new Cosmography Daytona pieces with the El Primero mechanism Calibre 4030 (Zenith Movement). The current movement developed by Rolex the 4130 Calibre, featured a vertical clutch system and the purpose of its design was to maximize the production system and simplify the manual operations of watch assembly.
